This is an older style hat, which takes bobbles to another level. I used felting wool to make it and then washed it gently in the machine to felt it less intense than the bags on this website.
 
The diameter around the opening is about 18cm, circumfence is 59cm. If you need it a little smaller, it can be felted further and then moulded to the desired size.
